    All warranties are for the pre existing condition of the parts. Did they list the engine as excluded? I’d file with the FTC and any state entity I could and get those ***** shut down if they made no such declaration in the contract.

    Anybody use this precut grille vinyl?

    When I got mine in early 2020 I was surprised to find vinyl for the rear lettering that I thought was too washed out on the trim to even see. It’s a subtle upgrade that gave the back a more finished look. I noticed a newer model the other day has it now factory.

    Change the thermostat to the new design. It helped mine a lot. After seeing the trans temp difference alone, I’m thinking my factory stat didn’t open fully since new. I’m running 190 now once warmed up, down from 205 after not an hour. You could do the NGK ruthenium plugs as well.

    Getting the Stealth wheels was the icing on the cake that sold me on the SE package. These are my favorite rims on a daily that I’ve had. Gives it that bespoke look versus an all aluminum wheel. My wife saw the truck and said they set it off perfectly.

    I’m not sure any of these are making it long enough to wear down the clutches from worn out fluid. The hard parts seem to die before that would come into play.

    I hadn’t noticed the tech turned off the ac when he did the service. First time it mattered was on the trip over the weekend. With it on, it stays about 187 and sometimes 192. Still way better than with the factory stat.

    2020 Plat Max Transmission Normal Temps

    My trans temps seem down a good 30 degrees since the new thermostat went in. They were typically 205 even I. Winter without a trailer. Now seem to be like 160-175. Only been a week and I haven’t driven a full hour to say, but I’ve driven long enough that before the change they’d be over 200.
