Auto Stop/Start *USED* to be disabled- Now it's back

Perhaps the previous owner had an AUTOSTOP ELIMINATOR device installed, then removed it before turning the vehicle over to you. The vendor offers two install options: a) INLINE between the switch and the connecting harness (I’ve had installed since 2019 with no issues, and b) an install into...

    Auto Start Stop Damage turbo's?

I've had an Autostop Eliminator (www.autostopeliminator.com) installed on my 2018 Expy for 4 years - no issues, simple install. Mine is connected inline with the switch on the dash and retains the last setting (on or off). I turned my switch off 4 years ago and never touched it again. No more...

Could be the catalytic converter. Perhaps the internal air filter behind the glove compartment should be replaced ?

Have the dealer put a dye in the coolent and run a pressure test. They’ll use a uv light to locate the leak.

    Active Park Assist Disabled

Not sure which module generates a code - Does the PAM, for instance, push the code out to a higher level module, or does some higher level module interrogate the PAM periodically, and post the code (don't know). It's firmware, so at the mercy of the programmer - just ask Boeing.

How To Turn Off HD Radio

Figures...the only other thing I can think of is have the dealer update the IPC module (Instrument Panel Controller) and disable the HD radio -- should be a quick update

What vehicle did you take your driving test in?

'66 Dodge Polara with worn brakes. The inspector turned to me as we were pulling back in to the DMV at the conclusion of the test, and said: "had I heard that when we were pulling out, we wouldn't have gone out."

Very floaty and/or doesn’t track straight, requires a lot of correction.

Examine your suspension. I had a similar experience - two blown struts after 17.5K miles.

3rd shock blown out on 2018 XLT

MacPherson Strut is an automotive suspension design concept (Earle says Hi). Basically, you have four struts, each comprised of a shock absorber enclosed within a coil spring.

3rd shock blown out on 2018 XLT

Those are struts all around...those springs will need to be safety compressed. I swapped all 4 of mine out for KYB Excel-G in the rear; Bilstein 5100s in the front by professionals - driver's side OEM front and rear blown after 17.5K miles

    Stupid Ford Lugnuts!

OEM lug nuts should be 21mm - my nuts were deformed: 13/16, 21mm & 22mm on one wheel. I swapped them all out for McGard 64034 (black 22mm). Get yourself a breaker bar and deep socket (21mm for your Gorilla)
