Yes it's the auto4wd but Its had the brown wire mod done to it because it kept going into 4was and wouldnt go out during dry terrain.- Paul Swenson

When I put my expedition into 4wd, the 4x4 light comes on. But when I push the gas to go, it sounds like metal slapping from underneath. Could that be the transfer case chain inside that has somehow gotten slack and is hitting the inside of the case?- Paul Swenson
