Towing with 13-14 Limited or King Ranch

Im hoping there is an easy way to identify this while browsing online. If trailer break controls means HD towing, that would be perfect. Even with HD towing, are their other options which are required to pull the fully allowable trailer weight? I assume a weight distributing hitch would also...

Towing with 13-14 Limited or King Ranch

Not sure. All the ones I’m looking at are short wheel base. This is the King Ranch: https://www.f150forum.com/vindecoder.php?vin=1FMJU1J54EEF63566 And this is one of the Limited: https://www.f150forum.com/vindecoder.php?vin=1FMJU2A50DEF61818 Although this particular Limited appears to be...

Towing with 13-14 Limited or King Ranch

BTW I realize I wouldn’t be able to tow the entire 9000 or 6000lbs depending on the weight of passengers, etc... but again I want to make sure I’m getting whichever model is equipped to handle the most.

Towing with 13-14 Limited or King Ranch

I’ve decided I’m going to spend a bit more and try to find a nice 2013 or 2014 Expedition Limited or King Ranch. I want to be able to tow a travel trailer, but don’t yet own a trailer either, so I want to make sure I get the most towing capacity so that I am not too limited when picking the...

    2010 Navigator

I’m in the other Washington (state) and wow, those prices you listed are way lower than what we see around here. I search through the state and into Oregon & Idaho and the prices here are much higher.

    2010 Navigator

I know it’s not an Expedition, but it’s basically the same vehicle right? How does $16K for a 2010 Navigator with 79K miles sound? Feels a little pricey to me, but it’s within the range listed by KBB. Anything in particular to watch out for on these guys? Thanks!

Considering a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer

Some great points, thanks for the feedback. I haven’t actually test driven it yet, just spend a few minutes going through it without a salesman hovering. Might see if I can get some time to drive it tomorrow and see how it drives. Truth be told I wasn’t really looking for an Expedition. I...

Considering a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer

How are you making the determination that the price is too high? KBB says $5-7K is fair market range for one like this with these miles. I’d love to get it for less than $5K, but that seems like it might be a stretch.

Considering a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer

Thanks for the info. $3-4K seems unlikely around my parts unless it’s a private sale & this one is at a Ford dealership. I’m in a fairly rural area without too many options. I was thinking of making an offer of $5K contingent on a clean inspection. I did check the usual areas for rust & didn’t...

Considering a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer

I’m looking at a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer with 121,000 miles. Asking price is $6,900. It looks like it’s in overall good condition, but I’m going to get it checked by a mechanic. I did notice that the rear air vents don’t seem to work. I can hear the fan blowing but no air comes out. I...
