    I would like to know as well. I'm having the EXACT same problem as the OP. Can't seem to get into 2WD. IWEs all check OK. I can shift 4WD modes OK. Can't get the front driveshaft and axles to stop spinning.

    You can lift the rear then use two jack stands to support the axle. Make sure to block the front wheels just to be safe. Then you can start and put it into gear (make sure you're in 2WD). I had to do this several times on my old '98 over the years.

    Two things from my old '98 that caused rear end clicking: - The parking brake cable was hitting the inside of the rear drivers side tire - One of the parking brake pads inside the rotor had separated from its bracket

    Hey all, I posted a similar question in the 3rd Gen forum, but figured this might be a better spot. For a 2016 Platinum with Torque on Demand 4WD (2H, 4A, 4H, 4L options), should the front driveshaft and drive axles be turning while in 2WD? Lets assume the IWEs are disengaged as expected. Thanks!

    So far the new harness seems to be doing it's job. I installed it about 2 weeks ago and no complaints yet. Hopefully the newer design from Ford fixes whatever the flaw was with the old one.

    Well, a year later and we're having the same issue. What is it with this connector that keeps failing? Is the gauge too small causing it to overheat, or is it simply poor connection causing the heat-up? Anyone have a permanent fix?

    New radiator is in and no leaks. That lower hose connector is really odd. Let's hope that is the end of it's needs for awhile. We did remove the front driveshaft to track down a vibration issue. Looks like I'll need to get that balanced, but that's a topic for another thread.
