Hey all!
For some quick context... a few weks ago I evac'd and vacuum's the a/c system. It held a vacuum which tells me no leaks, a very slow one at worst. Zipped back up and the a/c was rocking. Some days later the pressure dropped a bit with intermittent clutch engagement and needed a little...
So someone tried to steal my expedition. They pulled the black cover off the ignition cylinder and actually attempted to start it, which I could hear from our security camera footage. Anyway, when I first tried to start it today it wouldn't. Theft light was flashing rapidly. Found some...
I usually have my vents set to "Panel/Floor." I had noticed that the air coming out was considerably cooler than the outside air and seemed almost frigid, like the A/C was on. A few times I've switched it over to A/C and the air came out definitively colder, so I thought it was odd but didn't...
Thanks Maverick! That is certainly a couple options to make this work, and I had previously considered doing something along those lines.
However, after reading so many posts, threads and tutorials on how to make this happen from the switch I was determined to figure this out. Problem was...
Thanks for all the replies and ideas!

So I've read ALL the wiring mod threads for fog lights with high beams, parking lights ad nauseam and am still having trouble with this one...
Mostly I want to be able to run the fogs with high beams (I have crappy night vision so need all the light I can get) but having them turn on with the...
I was wandering about that junction... came across that when reading up on the "brown wire mod" and noticed the stereo wiring inside the dash seems to be coming in from the passenger side. Any diagrams for that junction box so I know where to start poking? It's already warmed up enough to start...
Hello all!
Recently acquired a very nice 1999 XLT so thought I'd join the forum. Of course, I come with problems :/
The previous owner told me the radio (stock) doesn't work when it's freezing but comes on after the vehicle (and presumably the inner dash area) warms up.
So I figured it must...
