    I changed my DPFE sensor with one from the dealer stealer, based on advice from Hamfisted. Check engine light gone!

    I changed my DPFE sensor with one from the dealer stealer for a 225% higher price than Rock Auto's least expensive, based on advice from Hamfisted. Check engine light gone! That Hamfisted dude has helped me big-time 3 times already.

    Hey y'all, I cant seem to get rid of these above codes. So far, I've cleaned throttle body, replaced EGR valve, EGR control solenoid vacuum valve and the EGR pressure feedback sensor. My next move is to clean Mass Airflow Sensor. Any other ideas? All The Best, Peter

    Hi forum, My 2004 5.4 2V Expy Police is hesitant only cruising between 40-50 MPH. Otherwise, it runs great. I've changed out plugs and coils. I also replaced a rattling left CAT... error codes 0406 and 1406. All The Best, Peter

    Hi y'all, I have a knocking under my rig that was diagnosed with a mechanic's stethoscope. No CEL. Normal performance from engine otherwise. Mechanic wants 600.00 to replace one left rear CAT. Is this a fair price? Should I replace the entire system or should I look into replacing whole CAT...

    I'll do my own from now on. Not only did they refuse my request to put 10w30 in my 04 expy. Saying I would ruin motor. They were trying to upsell me like I just walked off of the short bus. It's not bad to change out. Get some ramps and you're good.
