Extended crank on morning below 50
Please help. At a complete loss. My 2012 expedition has been giving me cold start issues. Extended/hard start when 50 degrees or below and the vehicle has sat overnight. once it starts up I get a plume of blue/white smoke. I also get a whistle/whine when driving until the engine is warm. Rattle on acceleration 2012 Expedition limited 2wd
I'm still trying to figure this rattle out. I am pretty sure it isn't an exhaust leak of any kind. It literally only happens when I hit the gas and move. It won't happen I. Nuetral or park and it wo t happen when brake torquing until the wheels spin. Yet I am almost positive the sound is coming...- dah90

I just checked that based on you recommendation. The clamp on that heat shield is still there and tight. The welds on the passenger side are still there and unbroken as well.- dah90

Ouch
Ouch! That looks like it was a hard hit! I did damage like that to a previous vehicle once. Only it was because I hit a huge pot hole. Ended up needing a rim, tire, and alignment. It was just shy of a $600 repair for me if I remember correctly. That was on a VW though.- dah90
