    I have a 2ed gen and i used a 3 1/2" leveling kit. the stance was greatly improved. Was able to fit 33x12.5x17 under mine with no problems at all. Had to remove stock running boards.

    AC compressor burn out #3

    Expansion valve not necessary unless it's not working. In that case compressor would work but no cooling effect. Should see some freezing up of liquid line.

    Need to replace the filter/drier and the orfice. Then pull good vacuum and charge to factory specs.

    I have had good luck at pull your own part salvage yards. found wrecks with new ac compressors and only cost me $30.00. Did it my self, but was a hvac service tech for37 years. wont hurt to try.
