Phone audio started sounding like a cheap two inch speaker.
Wondering if it isn't your Sync 3.4? 2016 models had Sync 3.0. Other Sync threads talk about quirkiness after upgrades. You or previous owner must have upgraded Sync.- rayjyee1

Flip up window closed? With guide lines not showing, it indicates flip up window is not closed or bad sensor is there.- rayjyee1

Nope. Just went blank and nothing else. That's why I pulled it after 10 minutes. Will retry.- rayjyee1

2016 / 2017 Sync 3.4 Success?
It went blank pretty quick, less than a minute after insertion. Left it in for 10 minutes, it was still blank. I used Cyanlabs 2.10.0 downloader which downloaded 2.1.0.5. I tired restarting/rebooting a couple of time.- rayjyee1

2016 / 2017 Sync 3.4 Success?
Darn! Tried install this morning, but not successful. Screen went blank and nothing else happen. Using a PNY 32GB USB 3.0 drive. I recall someone earlier saying use a 2.0 vs. 3.0 USB. Maybe I'm was just to impatient and pulled out the USB too early. When it is updating, do you see a screen...- rayjyee1

Thanks Chuck. I will attempt the upgrade early next week. Since the SUV has not ever been upgraded for years, I wondering by using CyanLab automated method, just one USB drive is all that is needed? No need to downgrade and then upgrade like you did. There sure is a lot of great information...- rayjyee1

2016 / 2017 Sync 3.4 Success?
Just bought a 2017 Limited last month and read this entire thread. Sync 2.2 is the version currently installed. Looks like Lokiwolf upgraded directly from 2.2 to 3.4 (19274). Should I anticipate any problems jumping up to the latest version? Or just follow CyanLab instructions? FWIW, I think...- rayjyee1
