I want to add to my post above. Before I ever towed a trailer, I switched my Expedition Max to load range E tires. I air up the rears to 45 psi, as using the tire pressure chart for my tires, this gives me the full weight loading capacity of my rear axle rating. I also switched out my TT...

Good info from Jason above. To answer your question, I’ve in the past experienced only the most minimal of sway with very strong wind gusts or being passed by semis. It was tolerable and I was always comfortable going 70 or so. We are now just completing a 2-week trip to various national...

    Eco-boost

I actually had the cam phasers repaired on my 2015 but no problems so far on my 2020 (20,000 miles) and now my 2021 (21,000 miles).

Trailer Sway Control (TSC) "fighting" Andersen WDH?

I tow a 7000 lbs loaded 28 foot travel trailer using an Andersen WDH with my 2021 Expy Max FX4 with max tow. I turn off the TSC as requested by Andersen every time time I start it, along with switching to tow/haul mode. If you don’t, you can feel the rig shudder as the 2 methods of TSC fight...

I have one pulling a 6800 to 7000 pound loaded 28 foot travel trailer with a 2022 expedition max filled with our family of 7. Given that we use so much payload for people, I also wanted the weight savings the Anderson provides. It is easy to setup, levels my rig, and gets all of the numbers...

Photos of Trailer(s) that you tow with your Expedition

Our 2021 Expedition XLT (max tow, 1806 lbs payload) with Anderson WDH towing a 5800 lbs dry, 7600 gross (but about 6800 loaded) 28’ travel trailer. Tremendously stable and easy to pull.

    Whining...

My brand new 2020 makes this sounds as well, and I came here looking for shared experiences, so thanks for posting. It drives me nuts, but glad to hear it’s “normal.” Anyone think there’s a chance that switching to a different transmission fluid (AMSOIL?) would have any chance of helping?
