For the amount of money these trucks cost, you would think Ford would be able to put a plastic trim piece on the door to prevent this. My old suburban had that.
Well today sucked pretty hard...... We are having crazy winds with the winter storm today. I was on the parking lot of a grocery store and a car blew Into my car at full speed.
The picture below is the damage. I am so mad at the moment over this. I'm hoping a pointless deny removal place can...
I have ran nothing but 87 and not a single problem with my 2020. She runs good and gets great millage. Switching octane should not cause a check engine light.
I would switch between 87 and E85 on my LS motor Tahoe and that never set a code. The computer learns what octain you are running and...
I guess I am fairly lucky with my mileage. I get 17-20mph mixed driving (60%highway, 15% county roads, 15% city).
My last road trip I got 23mpg all highway doing 80-90mph from Austin to Fort Worth. The picture says 24mpg but hand calculator said 23mpg.
I got this brand for hi's, lows, and fogs. So far so good.
AUXITO H8/H9/H11 LED Light Bulbs, 400% Brighter, Mini Size, 80W 16,000LM Per Pair, CanBus Ready, Beam Adjustable Lamp Conversion Kit, 6500K White, Pack of 2...
My first night driving my expedition I thought the same thing. Those stock lights are a disgrace.
I bought some led bulbs for my lows, highs, and fogs and now my expedition has the brightest lights out of all my vehicles.
Amazon has several bulbs you can buy. Installation is very easy and...
I've had my 2020 expedition for over a year now and zero issues with it so far but it only has 5k miles.
My work 2020 explorer 3.0 Ecoboost is going to the dealer next week for a trans. It has 35k.
Thanks for the advice. Looks like my expy will stay stock. I was just messing with my Duramax and saw my chip and wondered if there was a chip for the expedition instead of a programmer.
My Duramax has a plug and play chip. It connects into my wire harness in my engine bay. It is controlled by my gear selector and gas pedal. When intake it to the dealer I just pull out the chip and there is no trace of it.
Is there a performance chip for our 4th gens? I prefer a chip over a programmer so there will be no trace of it once I unplug it?
I prefer just a plug and play with a decent 87 octane tune. I am also looking for a chip that might possibly make this trans shift better as well.
Thanks,
I have a strange issue with my instrument cluster info screen...
I recently towed one of my trailers with the expedition. I programmed the expy to the trailer size for the blind spot monitor. I could never get the blind spot monitor to work with the trailer but that's not a huge issue for me...
Ford will never say to air down your tires due to safety. Most people have no clue what they are doing off road. Most people will pop the bead or not air their tires back up when they are done. That's why Ford will never say lower your tire pressure. They don't want another Firestone issue again.
I always have 2 vehicles for myself and I replaced my lifted 2500HD Duramax with my new 2020 expedition. I could not disagree with you more. My expedition feels nothing like a minivan. The 3.5 has some balls to it and tows my trailers with a half ton load on it just fine. I still have the...
Is it happening when your truck down shifts? A bad trans/ torque converter can cause your truck to stall.
I love my expedition but these 10 speed transmissions are complete trash.
What led headlights did you buy? I switched my lows to led and holly cow they are bright. My led bulbs I put in my halogen expedition housing are way brighter than my explorer with factory led lights.
Is anyone else having issues using waze on their sync radio? Mine just constantly zooms in and out on it's own. It is getting pretty dang annoying. Also my gps speed randomly shows then goes away.
Has anyone here changed out the rear end gears?
Unfortunately when I got my expy I could not find one with a tow package.
I'm wanting to get a little better gearing in the rears
