Exhaust for 2nd Gen
I just got a flowmaster muffler, a full exhaust is a waste of money bro, it doesn't increase power, Flowmaster 40 series is the way to do it sounds like a beastly V8 like it should you'll be very happy and maybe some drone doin 65 MPH on the freeway, but after you get up to 75-80 nothing! FINALLY!!! K&N dyno sheet
I rev mine out to 4K at least a couple times a day just to do it and I recently got that Flowmaster 40 series and love what this beast sounds like but yeah I guess for that little on a daily driver I wouldn't do that either- Zach Dean

Keep It or Flip It??
I would say keep it and build it up a bit new head unit, maybe upgrade for brakes suspension or if you want something that is newer go with an 07-15 they still have the 5.4 but they went with a 6 speed trans that from what I’ve heard does not have our shudder issues I am currently dealing with...- Zach Dean

I think I got lucky, but a rebuild SHOULD come with a new torque convertor, when I requested a torque convertor replacement my mechanic said he'd do a full rebuild and get a new torque convertor, maybe that was just my circumstance?- Zach Dean

LOL yeah based on my issues lately with the Truck not much better and mine didn't even make it to 200K before it needed trans work, I currently have 161K on the car. But what can we do? We love em'!- Zach Dean

Also I forgot, a total way to make sure you're not actually slipping a gear, turn Over Drive OFF and drive it, then see if it slips if not, then its for sure the torque converter- Zach Dean

So I think I can help, I am experiencing about the same thing in my 06 King Ranch with the 5.4. When from a stop my car does not shudder or slip when I let off at about 40-60 mph and get back on again it will shudder and "slip" when I let off and give it more it will shift and go.
