P0307 #7 misfire
Couldn't agree more.....we're a long way removed from the points, plugs, and condenser era. I thought I had a good local shop but at the end of the day his equipment and ability to read it just couldn't get it done. Costly lesson on my part. Planocat- Planocat

At the end of the day, I think I received counterfeit coils and plugs off the internet from Walmart.com. Fordmakuloco has a youtube video on Motorcraft counterfeit parts and I believe that I was the victim as the whole issue started when I replaced all 8 plugs and coils with "genuine...- Planocat

I feel your pain....experienced exact same issue on my 5.4L 3V. Literally spent thousands from the local mechanics parts cannon to no avail. I loved the truck and have it setup and accessorized just the way I wanted it. Being a stubborn old fart in my 70's, I wanted it to be my last truck...- Planocat
