Sun roof leaking
HAHA. I was contemplating the sheet metal and weld job as well but figured in time I would have a rusting mess. I was also thinking I might be able to drive a wedge in to hold the glass up to seal, it's only the drivers side that drops down a little.- Port Tack

Sun roof leaking
The sunroof in my 2013 Expedition broke while open and would not close. Something in the track broke. Did some research and found out it was rather expensive to fix. Lift gate opens unexpectedly
My 2013 doesn't open by itself but sometimes will not close. It goes down and sounds like it is about to latch but then opens again as though something was in the way. I recently bought mine and just finished converting it to my instacamper. I go away for weekends fishing and tow a boat so I can't tow a camper. Rear diff leak?
Ford dealer is going to replace both axle seals on a vehicle that I intend to purchase (2013 expy el xlt). He says they are leaking. Is this atypical for a truck with 107,000 miles on it? Sand and 17 vs 18 inch rims
Oh I'm definitely deflating before attempting some of the places I run and have a compressor. I suppose Ford did put 18 inch tires on the truck for a reason. Just hate to make an investment and have someone say "you know what you should have done is......" I dumped a Honda 4-wheeler one time... -

Good idea. I will have to try them, thanks. What you say about sand not being created equal is certainly the case. Some of what I must master is pretty soft and uphill. The beach itself is pretty much a piece of cake it's getting to it and back that can be a trick. I may spring for a winch... -

Lifted 2008 EL Very Bouncy?
I have read on here that the 5100 Bilsteins alone will give you about a 2-3" lift all by themselves. My question is if you want to put a little bigger tires on can you do it by just adding these shocks? How big of a tire will fit with only the 5100 Bilstein shocks installed? Yup. The whole point of a lift is to have your truck sit higher, it looks better. There is a certain security being bigger than the guy driving next to you. If you WANT bigger tires you HAVE to lift it so that COULD be a reason but even that may have nothing to do with ground clearance. If...- Port Tack
