5W-20 Ford recommended oil
I've put 5w-30 in my '04 eb 5.4l 2v for the past 5 years and it's running great at almost 160k miles. Over time your oil will shear to a lighter weight anyway so I like starting off with a heavier weight.- OverlandExpy

Oh I'm 100% planning on regearing to 4.56. Just saving up some cash because I want to put in Detroit lockers in the front and rear when I regear. Whole setup will be 4k or something. Almost as much as I paid for the truck!- OverlandExpy

Should be in my main build post but I have Rancho quick lift struts which add an inch or so and two inch pucks on top of the coil over assemblies to give me ~3inches front and rear. I don't think you can. I remember someone posted a picture somewhere of the two and one was a bit wider than the other one. Geometry seems to be a bit different. But would be nice to know for sure! One day someone will buy a cheap set on this forum and find out for everyone lol- OverlandExpy

I put on 35s! I also put some spacers on top of the struts to level it out a bit so I've got a total of 3 inches for the front and back. Switched power circuit / fuse # needed for dashcam.
I'm looking for a solution for this too. I recently wired up a light bar and ditch lights to some light switches I added to the cab. Front End Clunk, and Have you Tried Duralast Upper Control Arms?
@Vincent Vega havent tried anything but the OEM uppers so far, but keep us posted on what you do! What conditions does the clunk happen in? When you're going over bumpy terrain? or when you're on the brakes?- OverlandExpy

Had some momentum from putting those sliders on, so I decided to make some ditch light brackets and slap those on too! Thank you!!! It was a hell of a project but I'm glad they're done! They're pretty solid, I jacked up the truck on one side by the slider and it held the weight with almost no flex even with both tires off the ground! Definitely ready to eat up some rocks- OverlandExpy

2004 Expy, Crank, No Start. No fuel pressure. Internal Relay seems fine. Inertia switch not tripped. Help!
Wish I could help you with the electronics, but if you can't get it working, any chance I could buy the skid plates off ya? I think the police version came with a few different skid plates, do you still have any on your expy?- OverlandExpy

Also anyone know if the BW4416 transfer case is locked when in 4L/4H? Or have any technical documents for it? I've been going crazy trying to find any info about it online, and the service/shop manual doesn't have tons about how it works. Once they were all welded up, I went over them again with the flap disk sander, touched up any welds that needed it, and grinded it a bit more to clean it up. Detroits would be great in the snow! Very predictable when it will unlock. It is 100% locked all the time, except for when one wheel is spinning faster than the other, like the outside wheel will in a turn. Kind of works like a ratcheting wrench. Yeah my neighbor actually has power tanks on his jeep, they're pretty cool but I think Detroits are the way to go for me. The line on the rear bumper is where I was thinking of trimming it similar to how I cut off the front bumper. But it would expose the tow package and not increase my departure angle due to the hitch.
