20 year tune up questions.
I had the front rotors done in Aug 2020 on my 2003 XLT 4x4 with 198K miles. I didn't ask for anything special. So I'm assuming I received plain/regular replacement front rotors. There will be a viable market for EVs. Just not all/every vehicle or every person. Not nearly everyone in the next few decades. For power in vs. power out, electric motors are very efficient. What to look for when buying a gen 2 expy
On my 03 getting the 2nd row center seat folded down is difficult. I have to get in there and kneel on the seat to tug on the cable hard enough to get to get it to release. Again on my 03. On one of the second row side seats: After folding down the seat back, I can push it down level...- expyaddict

When you fill up are parked nose down a bit? My 03 did the same. I forgot the explanation from the shop, but we didn't fix anything. I just back it in so it is parked nose up a bit.- expyaddict

New engine or new vehicle ?
I've been contemplating the same thing with my 2003 XLT 5.4L @ 197K miles. Still runs great, only expected maintenance so far. We still use it for road trips. (8 - 10 hours one way) One minor fender bender late last year resulting in a new left front fender, bumper cover and related bits...- expyaddict

Expensive Sunroof Repair
Plastic bits within the sunroof/moonroof track and slide assemblies are notorious for getting brittle, cracking and then failing. Not just an Expy thing. The repair is a lot of labor (from what I've seen anyway) Probably not something you want to do on a newer Expy, but if you can get it...- expyaddict

Original owner of 03 XLT 5.4L 4wd. 195K miles. Runs and rides like a champ. But my baby just suffered its first accident! It will recover. Left front impact. Fender, bumper cover, head lamp, fog lamp, not too harsh. Now that I have a nice new looking charcoal gray front lower bumper...- expyaddict
