Everything was fine until the GF needed to drive the truck (she's 4'11" ). I adjusted the seat for her and saved hers to memory 2. After that, when I drove it the "easy entry" would go to her position instead of sliding back like it's supposed to. I've tried doing both memory buttons again...
2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer. Whine is new. Follows engine RPM. Doesn't change hot vs cold. Doesn't change in gear vs in park. Doesn't change AC on or off. Doesn't change when turning steering wheel. Most noticeable at lower RPMs under 1500.

When I put the truck into 4A and drive slowly, it shakes/struggles when I try to turn, like is expected in 4H and 4L. I had the transmission rebuilt a year ago but I'm not sure if this is a transmission issue. Is there some sort of lockout for 4H/L that's incorrectly engaging when I'm in 4A, or...
Started getting a bad misfire on cylinder 8. Did all the plugs and coils. Luckily the previous owner (I bought it with 190k miles) had done the plugs, probably on schedule. None of the plugs broke. Here's cylinder 8. Probably had a few more miles in it LOL
Bear in mind I drove 150 miles on 7...
Have access to a lift and all necessary tools. Doing the work isn't an issue. Knowing what to put on, that's where I'm lost.
2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer. 190k miles. Super bouncy, especially the rear end.
I'm the type to just replace everything while it's apart. Thoughts on these two kits...
By the way, I never implied you said they don't catch oil. You don't seem to know what imply means. I implied nothing, you incorrectly inferred something I didn't say and didn't even insinuate.
Imply means a logical conclusion, not an insinuation. For example the statement "1/3 of cars are red...
I'm sorry logic escapes you.
Oil is in the can = it didn't go into the intake to be burned = reduced carbon deposits = engine runs better
And later when you grow up and stop hurling childish insults maybe you'll get better responses to your questions etc
Rotors don't warp. It's a common misnomer. They develop hotspots which hardens the metal so the hotspot doesn't wear like the rest of it, resulting in humps.
Anyway, drilled rotors are a gimmick. They're prone to cracking. Slotted does offer more bite at the expense of wearing down your pads...
If you buy a new car, yes. An older vehicle that has never had one, there's kind of no point. I put one on my 2016 Challenger a month after I bought it new. I have emptied it a few times in 20k miles, which means it really is catching oil instead of letting it go back into the engine to be...
Did you do the bumper pad yet? I got my new one and need to know how to get the old one off. Haven't been able to find any info on this, hoping I don't have to remove the whole bumper.
