    So I have the intake off already from hunting down this coolant leak, and I found that the elbow that's pressed into the rear crossover is broken... off. I'm sure that with enough tenacity I'll get the stub out of the manifold. Just wondering how to get a new one in though, has anyone done it?

    Uhhhh... you're wanting to put the '03 2V engine into your '08? Sounds like some solid mods, but that engine won't work in your '08 Expy. Not without some extensive electrical changes.

    Well, yall? Sometimes it actually is the alternator - tested mine today and not only did the machine say "Fail"... it said "FAIL" "FAIL" "FAIL". All three columns. New alternator is in and we're back up and going!

    I've thought that too - any voltage regulator I've had go out caused an overcharge condition, though. But then that was on a whole different machine, too. If the alternator checks out okay, I'm more than likely still gonna put a new voltage regulator on it.
