Safety Recall 22S36 - Certain 2021 Model Year Expedition and Lincoln Navigator Vehicles - Underhood Fire
Has Ford missed the fact that Start of production for 21MY was 11/30/20? Why are they including build dates starting July 2020 in the recalls? Makes me wonder if the defective battery junction boxes could affect some of the 20MY as well.- fordsuperduty01

I agree. They claim the fires are originating from the right rear of the engine compartment (where the battery junction box is located) and there have been reports of a few melted battery junction boxes. Recall Notice
I’ve been lurking this thread. It will be interesting to see if Ford expands the number of affected vehicles. The wife’s is a 2020 but with a built date of 12/1/2020. It’s not covered under the recall but falls within the build date range. Must have been one of the last 2020’s built.- fordsuperduty01
