My 2018 has suffered this disconnect three times. On the 3rd repair the dealer used a longer coiled wire and that seems to have done the trick. Not sure what rear window connector was used but being just an inch longer makes all the difference.
I had a similar experience last week at my local Dealership- they didn’t know when the “Validation” code would be available and we’re not concerned a bit about this update.
