Based on finding axles in the scrap yard, I was assuming he was taking the whole axle so he didn't have to set up gears.- Jbevs

Code like axle code on the door tag? Just look at your axle to determine if you have an 8.8 or 9.75. Then find the same size axle with the gears and locker you want. There should be a tag in the diff cover that tells you the ratio.- Jbevs

trasmission compatabilty question
I'm no authority on this, but since you haven't had any responses here you go. I would say yes, same engine should be same bellhousing pattern. I would definitely keep the computer with the 08 in case the 11 electronics don't work well with the 08. There are definitely better forums to ask...- Jbevs

2013 Soft / sinking brake pedal
2013 2wd xlt A week ago the brake pedal was soft on the first pump and would sink with light pressure on it. On the second pump it would be firm and act like no issue. Are fuel injectors a wear item?
It is not the e10. I can't say what your issue is, but my 2013 with 120k is easily attaining the mpg you are shooting for. E10-E15 here with a tank of e85 every one in a while. All stock with the same tires.- Jbevs

275/65R20 tires? Load Range E? 10 PLY?
A load range E CAN improve towing, but more often than not poor towing with an adequately equipped vehicle is due to it being set up wrong, not enough pin weight, etc.- Jbevs

Tire question
I'm a big fan of michelin ltx m/s2. Quiet, smooth rolling, long lasting, good snow grip. It is a road tire but has done good enough for me in my 2wd.- Jbevs

2013 Expedition ticking and transmission whining
Hello, I've read this forum since I bought this vehicle 2.5 years ago. 2013 XLT 5.4 2wd with 93k miles. I've only put <10k miles on it since I bought it, but after taking it on a 1500 mile trip 2 weeks ago a couple of issues have cropped up. Significant ticking on both sides of the engine...- Jbevs
