    Try a different shop, I had gone 3x and the original shop's machine was not calibrated. Keep in mind it's all a "range" so if you're within "range" and the machine is off even by 4-5 degrees you'll feel it. If not that then rotors are usually the next culprit.

    It's a module replacement, not a tare-down. While some components of the dashboard have to be removed, it's hardly 2 day's time to access, replace, program, and test the module. You can ask them for a copy of the steps, they can print them out.

    -30 is the lower end of the typical limit these things are designed for. If your evenings are around -15/-20 for more than 2-3 consecutive days I would recommend engine block heater. The trucks will work at these temps but not without some pre-planning.

    The biggest risk to ford isn’t their crappy quality control it’s the crappy dealer support network. Ford and the dealers love to point the finger but the customer is the one who loses, until they don’t and both parties remember who spends money.

    Spot on, also about perspective, having a vehicle start 1k less is more important for attracting customers. Especially when the overwhelming majority of them never tow anything.
