I don't have BlueCruise but what you describe happens with mine as well using adaptive cruise on the highway. The slamming of the brake is usually just around town when a car is turning left in front of me or when the car in front of me gets into a turn lane but I'm going straight.
Just because it operates as designed doesn't mean that it was a good design. I think of a design flaw as something that doesn't work in an appropriate manner regardless of if it was intentionally designed that way and is just a bad design or if it was designed properly but isn't functioning...
Just because it is operating as intended (I don't think it is) doesn't mean it isn't a design flaw. This just means it feels into the "unintended consequences" category.
I've had several things occur with the adaptive cruise control that I think are flaws. The truck sees a car stopped in...
Mine updated recently without leaving it on or doing anything special. I connected it to my home WiFi months ago and it just reconnects automatically when we get home.
I have that model in my F150 with aftermarket head unit. It works great. To semi hide the unit I used a 90 degree USB extension cable about 3 inches long to tuck the device into a cubby. I have not had to fully reset it but have disconnected it a couple times to troubleshoot an issue.
For what it's worth in not experiencing any of those issues and have run the battery to a low level once when getting the vehicle tinted. At night it is parked in a garage and left unlocked.
2022 SPP w 14k miles.
I just recently had this done on my 2022 SPP. I also elected to black out the C pillar. I decided not to go really dark with the tint but it is definitely darker and cooler.

I have the 12" screen and very happy to have physical buttons. Personally I think the screen is plenty big and do not see the need for it to be larger.
I have the 2022 SPP and unlike other vehicles I've rented the auto start stop is so mild that it doesn't bother me. I was fully planning to get the eliminator but haven't felt the need to do that.
I took our first family vacation in the new ride last month and drove through the Tail of the Dragon. Putting it into sport mode was lots of fun and it handled much better than I had expected. It definitely isn't a sports car but it hugged the road and stayed put through the turns enough to make...
If I lived in the area I'd do it and I'm actually happy with the auto start stop function. It's much less intrusive than other vehicles I've driven. Hopefully someone sees this and can make this happen.
I've driven to lots of forest mountain areas to go hiking and don't remember the last time I couldn't get cell service. At least once I made it back to main roads.
Because none of us have free navigation devices in our pockets... I feel the need to charge for such a feature quite pointless. I wish I could fully disable the built in nav and have it just use Google maps or Waze instead.
