I've had the same issue with my new 2022 on the drivers side. Dealer tried a reflash, no better. Ultimately they ended up replacing the drive motor. Now it works fine.
OK, I fixed the problem. Was built up mud between the radar sensor modules and the rear fascia. Pretty poor design in my humble opinion. The sensors are mounted about 1.5inches away from the surface of the fascia. They are inline with the rear tire. So any mud thrown by the tires goes directly...
I did some research and discovered the blind spot/cross traffic system uses radar modules in the rear fascia, one on the left and one on the right. So the it is not the visible backup sensors you see on the outside of the bumper. Who knew? I will put the Expi up on the lift tomorrow and take a...
2022 Expi Limited. Struggling with failure of the blind spot & cross traffic system. Started some months ago. Figured it was snow, dirt or mud on the sensors in the rear bumper. Washed the truck. Still fails. Sometimes it fails (dash warning - system disabled due to sensors being blocked) within...
Update on my SPP vibration. I posted earlier that after 3 tries at road force balancing at the dealer mine got marginally better. Still very noticeable over 80mph. Yesterday I installed my winter wheel/tire package. Huge improvement. Still a very subtle vibration starting in the upper-80's, but...
I can also confirm the cover fits my 2022 SPP. Comparing this cover to the previous one I purchased reveals why this one fits. The two legs in the front that sit over the studs (and receive the two nuts) are much taller. This lifts the front of the cover higher and this allows the cover to clear...
I have the same issue (on the original tires). Been to the dealer 3 times for roadforce balancing. Each time it has gotten a bit better, but still vibrates starting around 75. Can't get anywhere further with the dealer because they aren't allowed to drive the vehicle that fast to confirm the...
That would be an affirmative to it not fitting. Your engine has exactly the same bracket and EGR sensor mine does. The cover lays right over the top of that sensor - and as a result will not lay down onto the intake. You cannot get the sides to fit down onto the studs - which by the way are...
To be clear, my SPP is a 2022, built in late spring, took delivery in July. And again, I did purchase the exact Ford Performance cover (receipt with part#s in earlier post) and it does not fit - PERIOD.
Here are a few pics of the Raptor engine in my SPP. Note the device, I believe related to the EGR system, sitting over 3.5inches above the top of the intake. This is why the Raptor cover will not fit. I even tried trimming a portion of the cover out in an attempt to make it fit. No luck.
I purchased it, and it will not fit on the SPP. There is a bracket with cables on top of the intake, attached to the rear of the throttle body that prevents the cover from fitting down onto the intake. I ended up giving the cover to my son who installed it on his F150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost. Fit...
Mine is not a max, but is a SPP with the 22s and CCD. Mine has been road force balanced by the same dealer 3 times. It is better now. What I have noticed is that sometimes it is smooth, then there will be a period of time where it will vibrate again - all in the same trip. The vibration is felt...
Can you post a few pics of that cover on the engine? On my 2022 SPP limited I see no way that cover could possibly fit. The large pointing upward from/off the throttle body would not allow the cover to fit.
I also tried installing an engine cover, in my case the Ford performance cover. It does not fit either. They have added a bracket with hoses/wiring over the top of the throttle body and also re-routed some of the other hoses/lines on top of the engine along the passenger side. I have the SPP and...
