vehicle knocking while idling, but otherwise runs great, ??
My check engine light has *not* flashed in months. I do however notice when idling, it knocks. But when I get going, it seems to run great. Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? I was going to use Seafoam, but I wanted to ask here first. Thanks!!- zoldos

question about oil gauge on dashboard, 2005 XLT
This is probably really simple, but I was wondering what the oil gauge means on my 2005 XLT dashboard? It has an "H" and an "L" and is normally above the middle point. Is this temperature, pressure, amount of oil in the crank case, or what? Also, what level should the gauge needle normally be...- zoldos

2005 XLT not cranking after it was bitter cold for a week?
I hadn't cranked my 2005 XLT for a bit, and it was around 25 degrees F for like a week. Then when I tried to crank it, it turned a couple times, but wouldn't start. I jumped it, and it ran perfectly thereafter, and cranked just fine the whole rest of the day. Comments? Is this normal? The...- zoldos

A/C works, but no cold air from the dash vents??
Last Summer I suddenly noticed that cold air stopped coming out of the dashboard vents, but the A/C *does* work and was on (I get very cold air on the rear seat roof vents). Air comes out of the dash vents, it just isn't cold, despite any console settings. Does anyone know how to fix this, or...- zoldos

2005, check engine light slow blink then solid again after hard acceleration?
