Upgrade rear speakers for Expedition Timberline with B&O system

It takes some work with the EQ but it can be improved. The mid tones are muddy unless you crank it up and need to adjust the bass depending on music genre.

Your review of the 15” Screen

We‘ve had our Timberline for 2 months now, 3500 miles including 700+ to Destin and back last week. Literally zero issues. No freezes, no restarts, zero issue with CarPlay. I’ve gotten used to the A/C controls, I’d still prefer buttons but got some muscle memory now and its not distracting to...

Has anyone tried the (big) Sync 4A touch screen?

Definitely agree with this. Its the only thing I consistently have to menu dive for.

Has anyone tried the (big) Sync 4A touch screen?

We've had our Timberline with it for a month. Its grown on me and at this point I like it. Apple Carplay in particular makes it worth it. I think the biggest issue is the limited voice commands as opposed to the screen. I will say if you aren't comfortable with technology and touch screens its...

    New Timberline Owner

Its VERY dependent on the lighting. When you are inside it always feels almost black. It is two-toned, so the dash and the leather on the tops of the doors and the steering wheel are not green. It really only gets the intense greenish hue in direct light when the doors are open. Kind of...

    2022 Timberline - First Drive

Congrats, we have the exact same vehicle. I'm very interested in the max tire size as well.

    New Timberline Owner

Two week update: Enjoying the ride quality and engine. Just great for highway passing and getting up to speed. Good turning radius for the size. Seats are very comfortable. Zero issues with the Sync4A system working. No reboots, no disconnect issues with wireless apple car play. Easy to switch...

Platinum 360 Cameras - Dashcam Use?

It can't be due to privacy laws, you can get it in a BMW. I believe it constantly records and you can grab 30 seconds back if you want to save it.

Platinum 360 Cameras - Dashcam Use?

I'm interested in this but I can't imagine an easy way to hack into it. Is there such a thing as adding an accessory to a Sync system?

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Anyone have an educated guess as to how big we can go on a stock Timberline? I have one but I'm about a year out from tires. Happy to measure stuff or post pics if anyone is interested.

    New Timberline Owner

The WT HP's listed as 2022 on their website fit perfectly in a Timberline, so shorter than a Max.

I could not do better than MSRP even calling dealers all over the state. About half the dealers wanted 6-15k over.

FNG with a 2022 Timberline and the 501a Owners manual question.

I got a Timberline and got what you got, no hard manual

    Cargo Capacity (Roof)

It's got to be a center of gravity thing, I can't imagine a 200 lb person couldn't lay on the roof without the moonroof cracking.

    2022 Stealth Performance Production?

I can confirm my Timberline has HD Tow and 360 camera, as well as physical start/stop under the 15.5" screen. I guess I'll have to check if Park Assist is on there, I don't really need it.

    2022 Expedition - Schedule for production ?

$215 from Weathertech directly, shipped in a day. I think what I have is the one piece 2nd/3rd row as shown on the website. They shipped in a large box so weren't all folded up and I was pleased with how flat they laid right away.

Goodyear vs BFG K02 tread patttern since its been discussed on here. I'm really interested to see how tall and wide you can go with the stock lift. At a minimum I think you could go 285/65 or 275/70. 34/12.5's would look a lot better but I doubt would fit.

it’s really nice, can feel the added torque vs my Tundra 5.7 - effortless passing on the highway which was essential for this buy. Haven’t really floored it yet as I wanted some break in period. As you said, very different beast from the Pilot, I got this for true off-road trails in Colorado...
