    Bilstein 5100 shock install

Yes, I agree. Unfortunately the Monroe shocks I bought were brand new and maybe had 1,000 miles on them. Not good ride quality at all in my opinion. Waste of money yhere hasn’t been any problems with the new setup, I’ve driven it maybe 1-2k miles now. But the truck stays on pavement. Not sure...

    Bilstein 5100 shock install

Yes you read that right. The reasoning is because #1 I already had the kit and #2 I wanted to have 2 inches vs 1.75 inches. Very minimal difference I agree but it’s just something I chose to do. Next time I just wouldn’t buy the 2” kit all together.

    Bilstein 5100 shock install

Much better. The Monroe rears were okay, but the front had a sort of “bounce” to it after going over a bump. It seemed like it would bounce 2-3 times after the bump. With the 5100s it is just a quick bump and then it is over with.

    Bilstein 5100 shock install

Backstory: I have a 2” lifted 2010 4X4 limited (non- air ride). I swapped the shocks out with Monroe coilover and simple spacers for a lift. I have bilstein 5100s on my 2016 F-150 and enjoy the ride. After searching around, I did not find a definitive answer so I decided to risk trying putting...

    2012 Front Struts

And the front: I have the shocks set to the lowest setting. Once I first put the passenger front on, the truck was the same height as a stock shock with a 2” spacer. After driving around town the front settled down 1 inch. There is a very slight rake but I have the shock at the lowest setting...

How Many Here Run F150 Bilsteins Front Shocks?

Did you get it sorted out? I have a 2010 expedition 4WD that I plan on buying F150 4WD front shocks for stock height. I will then add a spacer in the front
