    2010 Expedition - Is the seal bad on the front differential?

    These pictures are the front differential and the shaft from the transfer case. It looks like the seal is going bad. last year when I purchased the Expedition I had a shop drain and fill the diffs fluid. can anyone tell me if it's the seal or something else?

    Differential Seal

    Hello, This is a simple one. I have to replace the seal at one of the half shafts coming off the rear differential. Are the drive shaft and half shaft seals the same size? I have a 2nd gen 4.6L expedition. How do I know which size of seal is the correct one? Do I just get an 8.8" pinion seal?
