Expy 2003 - No heat - Just replaced thermostat
Expy 2003 288k - no heat, good ac, strong power of the blower - just cold as hell, and I just replaced the thermostat. Could this be the heater control valve? I have no records of it being replaced, and I didn't replace it. It's OEM, as was the thermostat. I am recovering from a thermostat...- RoadRunner42

Diagnosing overheating from 200 miles away
Hi All, Here's what my quiet weekend turned into. My spouse drove our '99 5.4 Expy with about 160k miles to visit relatives about 200 miles away. On the way there it started overheating. Lower temp thermostat
Checking to see if anyone has installed one of these or has thoughts about lowering temp of the engine via thermostat. HELP Overheating then turn engine off not overheating
I have a 2005 ford expedition 5.4 Triton 275K miles, a few weeks back (05/31/2019) the engine coolant gauge showed overheating then when I stopped and turned engine off the gauge went back to the middle and normal, I would drive for a bit more same thing, NO CODES, NO Check Engine light just the...- mayday_jay
