Hello. Sorry for this being my first post, im sure its been covered, but I wanted to post because im in a little trouble on travels and see if a suggestion gets to me before I find some answers searching.
We have an 01 expedition xlt. We have had led lights for years. One side finally went out so we replaced them both and took off on a trip test drive. Well night comes and they barley put out any light so we switch when we got to out destination. They are brighter then the 1st set we replaced and worked fine for 4 or 5 days. We start our return trek back and night falls, we turn them on and work for a while and then they go out on both the high beam and low beam, both lights. We put the ones that barely shine back in amd they don't work either.
I've check I believe to be all 4 fuses, they were all okay. Replaced the switch and that wasn't it. I bought a cheap test light and the switch seems to be switching power. I couldn't get it to light up on the driver compartment fuses. When you pull back on the turn signal switch the lights do come on with both sets of light. And ideas on what to check would be greatly appreciated. I dont have tons of tools with me (only my travel load out)
