I have a 2004 Expedition XLT 5.4. When taking everything apart to replace my intake manifold, I accidentally broke off a vacuum line that goes into a rubber connector piece that holds two other vacuum hoses as well. That rubber piece goes into the back of the intake manifold, maybe throttle body? And I’m having a hard time searching for a replacement part. Does anyone know the name of this and possibly where I can get a replacement? Or is it just as simple as removing the broken piece from the rubber connector and re inserting the vacuum hose back in the rubber connector? I’ve attached a picture of what I’m trying to deacribe.

I do not know the name of that hose and was not able to find a replacement online when mine cracked some time back. I ended up going to a junkyard and salvaged one in good condition. The line you broke is a hard plastic line correct?

Yes correct it’s a hard line. It is 1 of 3 lines that enter a rubber elbow adapter fitting, which is what connects to the back of the throttle body. I couldn’t find any replacements. I ended up pulling the broke piece out of the elbow, and just pushing the broken side of the plastic vacuum hose back into the hole. I put some RTV gasket seal around the tubing, being careful not to put any near the hole of the hose so that it will not get clogged. Seems to have worked.
