2007 EL. Put the nozzle in and let it go, shuts off with the gauge at 3/4. I can squeeze more in until it's clear up to the top, but the gauge won't go higher - except some of the time it will go up to the bottom side of the Full mark.

Gauge going bad? Level sensor going bad? Something causing the tank to be a PITA to get over 3/4 full?

I had that problem on my 09. Turns out my sending unit was bad and had to pull the tank to replace the fuel pump and the sending unit as they are one piece. Easy to replace the part, not so easy to drop the tank, will take an entire afternoon.

Make sure you are close to empty when you drop your tank... It is a PITA if it is 1/4 full or more... Weighs way to much.

I agree with John. Remember gasoline weighs 7 pounds per gallon. 7x30= 210 Yikes!
