I'll go you one better Toby, I'd love a T5 or T6 manual in mine. In all the years I drove manuals, clutches we're all that ever went wrong. A beefed up 4r100 is the best bet on the Expeditions. But technology always sells. It worked 100 years ago with electric starters, and bigger 6,and 8 cylinder engines. It's just sad that everyday I keep hearing from you guys about something new and ridiculous that keeps popping up on not just our SUVs, but the competition as well. I mean really, Chevy automatics taking a dump at 90,000 miles, that's insane.

You were not on hard packed snow or ice at the time !

We were on roads with some sand patches. Tires did not lockup. Hard to find ice, outside of glasses, here in lower FL.
