18" or 17" Rims Off Road

Been looking at wheels and tires for my Timberline and I am seeing that 17" rims have way more options for wheels and tires.
The Method TimberLine Concept Build went with 17"s. What does every prefer look wise and off road wise? I like the 18's but I am tempted to go with 17's due to the variety and more options for offsets, etc.

1” on wheels is not really much of a difference. If you were comparing to 20s it would be a different story but 17 or 18 are both fine for off-road

If I was starting from scratch I would go with 17's. I have 17's on my Raptor and Rubicon and they have tons of choices with tires and airing down will get you about anywhere. With my Timberline I wanted to keep my 18" wheels so that's the only reason I didn't go to 17's
