Ive done my searches, and started to disassemble but am at a dead end. Ive gotten down to where the actuator is, but cant seem to figure out how to get the vent that is under it removed. There are brackets on each side, i removed the right side, but the left side i cant figure out where the top bolt is, got the bottom off just fine. The long white piece that was under the console has a wire harness connected to it, is there a way to remove that too? unscrewed the bolt that is in the middle, but its not possible to remove the whole bolt. I will post pictures, as far as my diagnosis goes, both hoses in the engine get hot to the touch, i DO have hot heat blowing through my rear vents on both rows which makes me think the actuator is out, next step will be the whole cut a hole into the glove box area and replace the door there. Searching up youtube videos only leads me on how to just replace the actuator, not how to actually remove anything. Im at my wits end lol. S.O.S please send help.

The screws to hold the top of the metal bracket face towards the gas pedal. Wiggle it and you will see where it’s attached.

I can’t help with the console part but you may want to get an alldata account. Totally worth it. Is the whole plastic tray just snapped down with plastic fasteners maybe?

I used this tool a bunch on this job and especially for removing the dash. It’s flexible enough to get at those pesky screws.

Don’t forget to disconnect the battery when you are ready to pull the restraint module. It slides out toward the gas pedal.

Found some pics with my carpet pulled back and floor vents popped out.

You can see the restraint module laying on the floor. After the screws are out, there’s a plastic pop out tab holding module in so you have to tug on it.
