I purchased this vehicle in 2009 with 90,000 miles on it. I took excellent care of it and it was completely reliable. During that time, I have replaced the radiator, heater core, and front differential. In October of 2018 the heat stopped working. I had the coolant flushed and the thermostat replaced but still no heat. I continued driving the truck until early March when the alternator failed. The vehicle sat until June when I had ut towed to my mechanic's house. He diagnosed it with a blown head gasket and said he could rebuild the engine. I bought the following new parts: full seal kit, alternator, fuel pump, plugs, coil packs, wires, water pump, fan clutch, brake lines and catalytic converter. A used air intake and brake booster were also installed. The vehicle ran fine for nearly two months and then began to overheat and misfire. The truck starts, runs and drives but will need an engine or another rebuild. Price is firm due to list of new parts. Email me at [email protected].

I would bet the used intake is leaking causing your problems. It should have been replaced with new.
Good price but I am too far away for now
