... those of you whom have done BODY (not suspension) lifts, in your experience did you run into any routing concerns for electrical or fluid that you could share with other? (Serious question, photos just for fun)

I’ve done 2 on s-10’s when about 20 years ago, no problems. And the same with the kit for the expedition. No problems, I believe kit has everything you need except gap guards, The rubber covers for inside the fender.

I don't have air ride suspension on my Eddie Bauer. I did find a shop who will lift my expy once it comes in. Could be another week or so and then I'll schedule an install. They will be using a 6 inch fabtech lift kit. I'll post once they install. I'll post pics of what it looks like now.

That is great! Hope no issues with mine as well then. I was wondering, is your expy rhino lined? Looks good!

Yes it has rhino liner, love it, get a lot of compliments. I’m sure a lot of people hate it too, oh well. The gap guards I believe I got from Amazon or eBay.

Love the rhino look. Your ride looks great with it!! I want to do something like that later on. I did find out some bad news this weekend. The shop i was going to use, got the shipping label and called to see when it would be delivered, but they had called the company they were going to get it from and they do not have the crossmembers for the kit. They called Fabtech to try to get them, but then they don't know and not manufacturing right now amd could be 1, 3 or maybe they won't even make. I was so bummed so no lift will be done soon unless I find a kit. So I have to make some calls and sells has full kit so I'll have to find kit myself and have them install. I could not find on ebay. I was so excited bit the company just created label, bit no full kit found. Thats the latest update.

That sucks for your lift. But honestly, I would look into doing a solid front axle, it would be custom suspension and actually be useful. It’ll probably not cost too much more if you do some of the shopping. I wish I had done that, as the fabtech doesn’t have much suspension flex. I’m not too sure about the other brands. If your actually planning on running off-road and some rock crawling, fabtech isn’t what your looking for. I may one day do this swap. The flares are bushwhacker I believe.

Thanks for the info. Will definitely look into and costs. Was hoping to be on the road on some trails overlanding in October. I'll see what options I have.
