Do I need this to hook up the factory amp?

Only one set of RCA's coming out the kenwood cd player for the amp I'm going to install for two 12" subwoofers in the back.

Wiring harness I bought for factory connectors

I will be hooking up my old kicker equalizer as well. I found the PDF file on it as well

Or can I use the front and rear outputs on the equalizer to run both at the same time?

See if I can find the remote bass control level accessory too for my equalizer.

Using the Remote Bass Level Control in the KQ5:

If you are using a KICKERKX amplifier that has a Remote Bass Level Control jack, the amplifier can be controlled from the KQ5. Just plug the phone cable (supplied with the amplifier) into the back of the KQ5 and plug the other end into the input jack on the amplifier. This eliminates the need to dash mount the Remote Bass Level Control knob. The knob labeled REMOTE now controls the KX amplifier(normally this controls the sub bass level). The RCA output jacks shown below are not available on the KX.3, KX.4 and KX.5 amplifiers. Not all KX amplifiers come with a Remote Bass Level Control. Check with your Authorized KICKER Dealer for availability.
Note:: This control is still compaatible with the RGX module in the ZR amplifiers,, Impulse 405d amplifier,, and the Impulse x33i crossover.

Just plug the phone cable (supplied with the amplifier) into the back of the KQ5 and plug the other end into the input jack on the amplifier. I GOT PLENTY OF THOSE OLD CABLES

The knob labeled REMOTE "will" now be the control bass control knob for my PG amp. Answers that question

Bypassed factory amp with my head unit pushing out 50w x 4(probably better than the factory amp).

Looks like your Kenwood needs an exorcist. Replace any speakers, or still running factory?

Hell Yeah - Demons in the dirt

Just the Mach factory speakers and the two 12" crossover CF3 with Phoenix Gold amp.

Missing my 10" Kicker square comps solo baric L7's and kicker ZR600 amps that went with that equalizer when I bought many years ago. Sold for parts to get my 1972 Cutlass Supreme running again.
