Nobody uses CD's anymore and most aftermarket units come with Apple or Android phone compatibility, WiFi, and dozens of apps and traffic reporting to entertain you. I think the Micro SD card music storage has replaced the CD options.


No way your Mirco SD card is going to store my massive cd collection with lossless audio quality...most of the time people shrink/compress their music files or video files to fit more files on their small storage space(sacrifice quality). I got my collection converted to WMA lossless on 1TB expansion portable drive for my desktop computer. My collection is also mp4 lossless with apple.


Records have the best audio quality sound and can be converted over as well.

My older kenwood head unit I bought used for $25 is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9(added 64gb micro SD card), with roughly 155gb of total space for everything on my phone.
