See attached prints

leave the jumper in place

next connect one lead of your volt meter to the red wire on C270a that is where one side of the jumper is

then connect the other lead to pin #12 on C270b its a light blue/orange wire
C270b is below C270k see print 11-01

also see print C270a which has pin layout for C270b

once meter is connected start the engine and read the voltage Post the result

Bedrick,

May I have the first image/diagram (CJB) as a downloadable PDF attachment like C270a is? The text is sharper and way easier to read than the one that is showing.

I would have sent it if I had it 11-01 was just for reference That is why I stated that C270b is below C270k

The jumper was installed in C270a and C270k Now from that you should know where C270b is

Sorry Bedrck, I forgot I start an online class tonight so I didn't get a chance to perform the step you provided. I will get this info to you ASAP.

This morning:

From startup, had "Service Engine Soon" lit up and the attached codes were read by Torque.

FYI: I've been throwing this code off/on for a while now. Not sure if it's related to my fuel pump relay issue or not.

What are the potential side effects of long term use of the jumper in the fuse box?

Most likely will outlast you or I

All it does is jumper the contacts of the fuel pump relay It is fuse protected
When you remove the key or turn the key to off, all power is removed to the jumper
But I would replace either the relay or fuse box to be on a safer side.
