Well, I found out why my 2003 EB 4.6 smells like gas. Looks like an evap line going from the tank to the charcoal canister. The smaller of the two lines, coming from a T connector going into the top of the tank passenger side rear. Plastic piece broke and someone before me tried to "fix" it with black electrical tape. Well, that didn't last. I couldn't get my eyes on the actual piece going into the tank since it was on top, but is that a replaceable part? What's my best bet to fix? Not real worried about the EVAP Leak code, we don't have emissions testing where I live, just tired of smelling like gas everywhere I go. Could I just block off the part of the T that's broke and send it? What's the ramifications of that? If that part is not unobtanium, I could drop the tank and fix it, just don't know what it's called or if it's still available. Thanks. Sorry the pictures aren't better.

Do you just mean the nylon line is broken and you want a new length to install ? You just use a heat gun to remove the old line off the fittings and heat up the new line end to slide it back on the old fitting. Other than that I'm not really sure what you're looking for from those pictures. Without dropping the tank you can't be sure about all the leaks or broken lines.

Unfortunately one of the plastic male fittings on the T connector at the tank broke. You can see it in the picture with the green background and the quarter. I need to find that T connector at the back of the tank and replace it if possible.
