2003 Expedition alternator upgrade to 2004 Crown Vic Alternator

Has anyone installed a 2004 Crown Vic alt into thier Expe? The mounting is the same and the harness is the same as well. But the wiring is a bit different. Cant find a reliable source that states the swap is compatible. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Probably can't find anything due to it being controlled by the pcm instead of the voltage regulator.
