2003 Ford Expidition factory/dealer installed remote start issues

Does anyone on here know anything about factory or dealer installed remote start issues? I can't find any information on this topic. I have the key fob that has 4 buttons on it and the remote start button is a blue button on the bottom right of the key fob remote. I've done what I think is the normal procedure by pressing the lock button and waiting a few seconds before pressing the remote start button. The lights flicker and you can hear the fuel pump engage, but that's all that happens. Is there maybe a relay or any other issues that prevent it from starting when all the other indicators of the remote starter system are working?

Also, the red dome light flashes which may be an indicator that it's stuck in valey mode.
