I bought stellar STERS1050 - REMOTE START ADD-ON for my 2007 Ford Expedition after searching the internet for wire diagrams that didn’t come with the product the stellar instructions have a couple of wires my truck doesn’t have need some guidance.

Neg. trigger activation input (Pink) goes to keyless alarm system l

Start circuit cutoff (orange)

Ignition 2 (red/white)

Acc. 2 (blue/black)

So which of these don’t matter and or where do I wire them to please help

I’m thinking that since the power lock wire puts out a negative pulse that I can hook it up to the Neg. trigger activation input (Pink) goes to keyless alarm system

That looks fun...the joys of analog remote starts. Been awhile since I've done one on these.

Do you have 2 primary/master keys? That BYTRAN bypass is a common Keywrap and you have to sacrifice a key. The other one offered, the PKALL, likely similar to the Directed DBALL would be a keyless solution. Would need 2 master keys to program but wont need to lose a key.

I didnt think there was a second ignition to hook up and looking at the direct wire sheet that is the case so no idea what they have going on there.

The 3rd page of your manual you uploaded is the connections page...what has to be connected on order for that remote start to work. Did they supply the pair of SPDT relays? Should be your common bosch 30amp type. There should be another page of instructions for the bypass with the PATS connections and lock/rap.

Have you ever installed a remote start before? Just curious because half ass directions from a manufacturer are almost worse than none.

As always very these wires w a meter before making connections. I've had things listed incorrectly in the past. Kinda the cya part of install...

I have only one key but the company I bought it from said it will store the code.
I have Installed a couple remote start alarms in the past on 1999 Honda prelude and crx.

I think if I hook up the power lock to the Neg. trigger activation input (Pink) Will work
And it did come with one SPDT relay like on page 3 of the instructions but I don’t think I need it
I’m going to call the free tech support on Monday and ask if they have no answers then I’m going to return this and get the fortin evo all

I don't like the idea of hacking into my mass of wires so I will make sure the next truck I buy has a factory one in it.
