I last posted for my 225,000 mile review.

50,000 miles later (3.5 years ago)

1 repair: One of the lines from radiator that brings hot water to heater failed. I replaced both. $500.

That's it.

Total spent on repairs since 2011 purchase: About $3,000.

Oil: Mobil 1. Every 5-6,000 miles. Mostly (95%) highway miles.

65 mile per hour MPG: Still 20.

Thanks for sharing. My new to me 2007 Expedition just hit 160,000. Only the last 4,000 are mine. Hoping to get many miles out of it. Love seeing success stories like this.

I just hit 260,000 on my 2007. I've owned it for about 10 years. Had it in the shop one time for a fuel pump. I changed the plugs and coils a few months ago. It still runs and looks great.

I just bought a 2004 Expedition with the 4.6L and 270k on the clock. Normally I would never consider a vehicle with that many miles on it but it is a solid vehicle with a full service history. I paid $1500 for it and there are some issues but all fixable. I got the P0420 / P0430 code for cats ( just need some cat cleaner) and a P0128 for the thermostat. These beasts are smooth to drive.

242,000 on my 2007. Bought 6 months ago in Oregon and have towed a car and large U-haul to Las Vegas on 2 trips each way. Every single thing is working in this Expy limited and it was very clean ! I've flushed radiator to prepare for Las Vegas heat, changed plugs and coils and all transmission fluids...Car is an ideal highway cruiser.... Can't seem to find a way to brighten the dashboard display and would like to know if a more powerful fan is possible for cooling front seats. I got tired of repair requirements for a beautiful Range Rover P.38 and very happy I switched to this Ford. Saving up for a late model Expedition or Explorer... Cheers, Steve

Something I should mention; Low Tire Air Pressure Sensor error. Tires are fine. Not sure how they can tell which one it is.

I used FORScan to turn the TPMS light on my 2007. Didn’t want to replace all the sensors and I check tire pressure and fluid levels every weekend.
