Can anyone please tell me exactly where it is located. I am losing communication with the tcm causing the truck to go into limp mode.

Is it the 6-speed 6R75 transmission ? What kind of DTC codes are you getting ?
Did you try unplugging the harness plug at the rear of the tranny and spraying with contact cleaner?
The range sensor is attached to the valve body and is just sold as the Transmission Control Assembly (i.e. It's located inside the drain pan....)
