If you have it, and the tranny is the only issue, well I'd look at a swap.
If anything else is going on sell it and get a 2012 or newer, 2009 is the worst possible year for Expedition\Navigator, I am dying in costs.
Parts are only there for that year, go to 2010\12. and from a ford to Ford swap the six-speed is WAY better than the 10-speed. don't do the ecoboost as those have a ton of issues blowing engines.
