Says not compatible with heated or cooled seats. Most have them I would think. Also imho a upholstery shop could install high density foam where needed for about the same money.

I don’t have cooled/heated seats, but they sell a version for those that do. I’m sure an upholstery shop could make me ostrich hide diamond stitch seats as well, but looking for a DIY option.

I went to a fabric store bought foam, shaped it to fill the affected area and used iron on patches to close the tears. I did a poor job matching to patch to the color but it works and looks good enough.

2010 - 2017 Ford Expedition XLT - Driver Side Bottom Durofoam​

I haven't seen them in Durofoam. When I did the job I went with the factory foam as it was good enough for 170k-ish miles. Obviously it fit perfectly and worked with the heated/cooled seats.

I installed the durafoam on both front seats of my 2003 6 or 7 years ago. Great product in my opinion. I also did new leather covers for the seat bottoms and backs. It was a pricey investment, but it's my daily driver. Still very comfortable today.

I haven't done my Expedition yet but I used their foam and covers to recover the seat in my 2005 F250. Everything fit very well. They have YouTube videos for most seats and it took me about 3 hours to remove the seat, recover and re-install it. I am pleased with how it turned out.

Here is another choice for foam and new covers. I have not used them so I cannot give you any feedback. I found them several years ago when my driver's seat side panel that you see when you enter the vehicle split for about 8" at 38,000 miles on my 2017. Ford said too bad as far as replacing it. Now with 126,000 on the ODO I might go ahead and replace it since it has a bit more wear on it now on other surfaces.
They also carry several other upholstered interior replacements as well.

Looked at theseatshop.com website. They list covers for 1998-2007 Navigator only. I have a 2011. Is there any difference between 2007 and 2011?
