2014 limited Expy heated seat switch won’t stay lit

When I push the heated seat button it glows for brief second the cuts off, so does a/c cooled seat switch. What could be going on?

The most common issue is a burned out ground.

Has anyone took the passenger seat out to fix the ground wire that’s bad?? I’m getting ready to do the job and any help would be appreciated

Ok need some advice, the new Ford wire harness I got has a extra wire right next to the burned out plug wire , I see in videos it says to use both wires as a ground instead of 1. The videos I’ve watched on you tube says it’s also a ground next to it to use both wires as 1 so the controller doesn’t get so hot and melt again. Do I do this??

Well I wired it and put both the grounds together, worked great.

I have pretty much the same issue - push the button, the light comes on for a moment, and then shuts off with no heating or cooling. Could you tell me what all you replaced? the wiring harness? the controller? From where did you buy them?

I have a 2014 Limited, Heated/cooled seats, same problem, light goes out on both. Seems like a resistance/heat issue with a connector/terminal. I am going to dig into it. Thanks for the insight so far.
